Better-Than-Takeout Stir-Fry Vegetables (Pam's 3-2-1 Glaze)
What You'll Need
- 1 bag frozen stir-fry vegetables (or any frozen vegetables)
- 2 tablespoons avocado oil (or any high-heat oil)
- 1 tablespoon Pam’s Prep Classic Seasoning
- Sauce packet (if included) or homemade glaze (below)
Pantry Stir-Fry Glaze:
- 3 parts soy sauce
- 2 parts honey or brown sugar
- 1 part vinegar
How to Make It
1. Make the Glaze:
- Combine soy sauce, honey (or brown sugar), and vinegar in a bowl.
- Mix well and set aside.
2. Cook the Vegetables:
- Heat a cast iron or heavy-bottom skillet over medium-high heat until very hot.
- Add frozen vegetables directly from the freezer.
- Stir constantly until all excess water evaporates.
3. Season & Sear:
- Add Pam’s Prep Classic Seasoning and stir.
- Add oil and continue stirring for about 2 minutes to develop flavor.
4. Glaze & Finish:
- Push vegetables to the edges of the pan.
- Pour the glaze into the center and let it caramelize for about 30 seconds.
- Stir everything together and cook for another minute.
- Remove from skillet and serve warm. ENJOY!
