What You'll Need
- 6 cups fresh, frozen, or canned corn
- 3 tablespoons clean, rendered bacon fat
- 4 tablespoons real butter, divided
- 3 tablespoons heavy cream
- 1–2 tablespoons Pam’s Prep Seasoning of choice:
How to Make It
1. Melt the Fat & Butter:
- Place a cast iron skillet over medium heat.
- Add the bacon fat and 2 tablespoons of the butter.
- Allow everything to melt completely.
2. Cook the Corn:
- Add the corn to the skillet.
- Stir well to coat the corn in the bacon fat and butter.
- Continue cooking and stirring occasionally until the corn begins to caramelize.
3. Season the Corn:
- Add 1–2 tablespoons of your favorite Pam’s Prep Seasoning.
- Stir well to evenly distribute the seasoning throughout the corn.
- Continue cooking for an additional 2–3 minutes.
4. Finish the Dish:
- Add the remaining 2 tablespoons of butter and the heavy cream.
- Stir until the butter is fully melted and the cream is incorporated.
- Cook for another minute until everything is heated through.
