Easy 2-Ingredient Salsa Sloppy Joes

 

What You'll Need

 

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 (16 oz) jar chunky salsa (heat level of choice)

 

Optional Ingredients:

  • Toasted buns
  • Cheese
  • 1 tablespoon unsalted butter
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

 

How to Make It

 

1. Prep the Buns (Optional):

  • Toast buns in a skillet with butter and olive oil until golden brown.

 

2. Cook the Beef:

  • In a cast iron skillet, cook ground beef over medium heat, crumbling as it cooks.
  • Drain excess grease and return beef to the skillet.

 

3. Add Salsa & Heat:

  • Add the jar of salsa to the beef and stir well.
  • Cook 2–3 minutes, stirring constantly, until fully heated through.

 

4. Assemble:

  • Spoon the salsa beef mixture onto buns.
  • Add cheese, if desired. ENJOY!
