I Don't Use ANY Oil to Make Fried Rice Anymore! (Easy 20 Minute Recipe)

 

What You'll Need

 

  • 2 cups basmati rice
  • 3 1/2 cups water
  • 1/2 cup dark soy sauce
  • 1 small yellow onion, chopped
  • 5–6 green onions, chopped
  • 1 medium carrot, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon Pam's Preps All Purpose Seasoning
  • Frozen green peas
  • 1/4 cup protein of choice (optional)
  • 1/4 cup vegetables of choice
  • 1–2 teaspoons cinnamon

 

How to Make It

 

1. Cook the Rice:

  • In a shallow pan, bring water and soy sauce to a boil.
  • Add the rice, cover, reduce heat to low, and simmer until just done.

 

2. Add Aromatics:

  • Add chopped yellow onion, cover, and continue cooking until rice is fluffy and onions are tender.

 

3. Finish the Fried Rice:

  • Remove from the stove and stir in remaining ingredients one at a time (green onions, carrots, peas, protein, extra vegetables, cinnamon).
  • Season with Pam's Prep All Purpose Seasoning and mix well.
  • Serve hot and ENJOY!
