I Don't Use ANY Oil to Make Fried Rice Anymore! (Easy 20 Minute Recipe)
What You'll Need
- 2 cups basmati rice
- 3 1/2 cups water
- 1/2 cup dark soy sauce
- 1 small yellow onion, chopped
- 5–6 green onions, chopped
- 1 medium carrot, chopped
- 1 tablespoon Pam's Preps All Purpose Seasoning
- Frozen green peas
- 1/4 cup protein of choice (optional)
- 1/4 cup vegetables of choice
- 1–2 teaspoons cinnamon
How to Make It
1. Cook the Rice:
- In a shallow pan, bring water and soy sauce to a boil.
- Add the rice, cover, reduce heat to low, and simmer until just done.
2. Add Aromatics:
- Add chopped yellow onion, cover, and continue cooking until rice is fluffy and onions are tender.
3. Finish the Fried Rice:
- Remove from the stove and stir in remaining ingredients one at a time (green onions, carrots, peas, protein, extra vegetables, cinnamon).
- Season with Pam's Prep All Purpose Seasoning and mix well.
- Serve hot and ENJOY!
