Crispy Air Fryer Pork Chop “Fried” with Pork Rinds
What You'll Need
- Bone-in pork chops
- 1 bag plain pork rinds (chicharrones)
- 2–3 tablespoons Pam's Prep No Salt Seasoning
- 2 eggs, well beaten
- 1 tablespoon water
- Avocado cooking oil spray
How to Make It
1. Prepare the Coating:
- In a food processor or blender, grind pork rinds until very fine.
2. Season the Pork:
- Rinse the pork chops and pat dry with paper towels.
- Rub 1-2 tablespoons Pam’s Prep No Salt Seasoning on the pork chops
3. Coat the Pork Chops:
- Mix eggs with water and 1 tbsp of Pam’s Prep No Salt Seasoning in a bowl.
- Dip each pork chop into the egg mixture, then coat with ground pork rinds.
- Set aside.
4. Air Fry:
- Preheat air fryer to 400°F (204°C).
- Spray the basket with cooking oil.
- Spray one side of each pork chop with oil and place in the air fryer, non-sprayed side down.
- Cook in a single layer (do not overcrowd), working in batches if needed.
- Cook for 10 minutes, flipping halfway through.
5. Rest & Serve:
- Remove pork chops when they reach 140°F internal temperature.
- Let rest for 3–5 minutes before serving. ENJOY!
Note: Pork chops will continue to cook while resting and reach the recommended internal temperature of 145°F.
