Crispy Air Fryer Pork Chop “Fried” with Pork Rinds

 

What You'll Need

 

  • Bone-in pork chops
  • 1 bag plain pork rinds (chicharrones)
  • 2–3 tablespoons Pam's Prep No Salt Seasoning
  • 2 eggs, well beaten
  • 1 tablespoon water
  • Avocado cooking oil spray

 

How to Make It

 

1. Prepare the Coating:

  • In a food processor or blender, grind pork rinds until very fine.

 

2. Season the Pork:

 

3. Coat the Pork Chops:

  • Mix eggs with water and 1 tbsp of Pam’s Prep No Salt Seasoning  in a bowl.
  • Dip each pork chop into the egg mixture, then coat with ground pork rinds.
  • Set aside.

 

4. Air Fry:

  • Preheat air fryer to 400°F (204°C).
  • Spray the basket with cooking oil.
  • Spray one side of each pork chop with oil and place in the air fryer, non-sprayed side down.
  • Cook in a single layer (do not overcrowd), working in batches if needed.
  • Cook for 10 minutes, flipping halfway through.

 

5. Rest & Serve:

  • Remove pork chops when they reach 140°F internal temperature.
  • Let rest for 3–5 minutes before serving. ENJOY!

 

Note: Pork chops will continue to cook while resting and reach the recommended internal temperature of 145°F.
