It is rare that something this simple can look this amazing, right? We have the rich, melted toppings, the golden crunch from the ramen crust, and that perfect skillet crisp. If you’ve ever wondered what to do with that extra pack of instant ramen sitting in your pantry, this quick 15-minute meal turns a humble favorite into a fun, savory pizza night shortcut without ever touching traditional pizza dough!
Ingredients
- 2 packs instant ramen noodles (any flavor)
- 1–2 tablespoons neutral cooking oil or butter, for crisping
- 1/3 cup pizza sauce or marinara
- 2 cups shredded Parmesan cheese, divided
- 1/2–3/4 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 10–12 slices pepperoni (or your favorite cooked toppings)
- Pinch of Pam’s Prep All-Purpose Classic Seasoning
- Fresh or dried parsley, oregano, or basil (optional, chopped for garnish)
Instructions
1. Boil & Drain the Ramen
Cook the instant ramen noodles in boiling water for about 2 minutes, just until softened. Be careful not to overcook them, as you want the noodles to hold their shape and crisp up beautifully in the skillet. Drain thoroughly.
2. Form the Ramen Crust
Heat 1 tablespoon of neutral cooking oil or butter in a skillet over medium heat. Mix 1 cup of the shredded Parmesan cheese with the drained ramen noodles. Spread the noodle and cheese mixture evenly across the bottom of the skillet, pressing down firmly with a spatula to form a flat, round pizza crust.
3. Crisp the Bottom
Cook the ramen crust for 3–4 minutes, or until the bottom becomes golden brown and begins to hold its shape. Carefully add the remaining 1 cup of Parmesan cheese to the noodle crust, gently pressing it down to help create a firm, crispy base.
4. Build the Pizza
Spread the pizza sauce or marinara evenly over the crispy ramen crust. Layer on the shredded mozzarella cheese, pepperoni slices, and a pinch of Pam’s Prep All-Purpose Classic Seasoning. Add your favorite cooked pizza toppings if desired.
5. Melt & Finish
Skillet Method: Cover the skillet with a lid and cook for another 2–3 minutes, or until the mozzarella cheese is completely melted, bubbly, and hot.
Oven Method: Alternatively, transfer the pizza in an oven-safe skillet to a preheated 375°F oven. Bake for 10–15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and golden brown.
6. Slice & Serve
Carefully slide the crispy ramen pizza onto a cutting board. Garnish with fresh or dried parsley, oregano, or basil if desired. Slice into quarters and serve hot. ENJOY!
Pam’s Pro Tip:
Save That Seasoning Packet! Never throw away the flavor packet that comes inside your ramen! Keep a small glass jar in your pantry and save them whenever you make a noodle crust like this. Those little packets are pure flavor gold. Store them away, and whenever you need to quickly flavor a big pot of soup, rice, or broth, you'll have a ready-to-use flavor boost waiting for you!
